On the heels of a large official visit weekend and just three days after landing No. 1 overall prospect Arch Manning, Texas gained five commitments in its 2023 recruiting class on Sunday.

The quintet included four offensive linemen: four-star prospect Jaydon Chatman and three-star prospects Andre Cojoe, Trevor Goosby, and Connor Stroh. Four-star receiver Jonah Wilson also pledged to the Longhorns on Sunday.

Texas added eight commits in the last week and seven since Thursday, when Manning announced his commitment. The Longhorns' 2023 class, which currently has 14 commits, moved to No. 5 in the country on Sunday according to 247Sports.

Chatman, the No. 191 recruit in the country per 247, was the highest-ranked player of Sunday's commits. The Harker Heights (Texas) High interior lineman is the 11th-ranked player at his position.

Wilson, from Dekaney High in Houston, is the No. 277 player in the class and the nation's 39th-ranked receiver.

Four of the recruits were uncommitted before Sunday, while Goosby was previously committed to TCU before flipping to the Longhorns.

The recruiting hot streak started June 19 when three-star tight end Will Randle, Manning's teammate at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, committed to Texas. On Saturday, the Longhorns landed four-star linebacker Liona Lefau, a Hawaiian recruit who is ranked No. 329 in the country.
