Nashville Predators goaltender Connor Ingram will make just his fourth career NHL start on Thursday on the road in Game 2 of the team's first-round playoff series against the Colorado Avalanche.

Ingram, who was 1-2 in three regular-season starts, saved 30 of 32 shots in relief of David Rittich in a 7-2 Game 1 loss on Tuesday. Ingram was called up late in the season from the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals after starting goaltender Juuse Saros suffered an injury. Saros was ruled out of the first two games of the series with the Avs.

Ingram, 25, had a 30-17-7 record, 2.70 goals-against average and .915 save percentage in the AHL this season.
