Faldo, who turns 65 on July 18, will make his final broadcast on Aug. 7 at The Wyndham Championship.
Nick Faldo is retiring from full-time broadcasting for CBS and the Golf Channel after spending 16 years as CBS' lead golf analyst, he announced Tuesday.
Faldo, who turns 65 on July 18, will step away after The Wyndham Championship on Aug. 7.
"The great run includes the fact that I have been on the road since I was 18 years old and am about to be 65 years old this July," Faldo said in a statement. "That's a long run of airports, hotel rooms and restaurant meals."
Faldo has spent 18 years in broadcasting following a long playing career that included six major titles — three at The Open Championship (1987, 1990, 1992) and three at the Masters (1989, 1990, 1996). His 30 victories on the European Tour rank fifth all time.
Faldo was an analyst this past weekend at the 2022 U.S. Open.Nick Faldo retiring from full-time broadcasting for CBS, Golf Channel - The Athletic View Story
