Wisconsin added a commitment Saturday from in-state running back Nate White of Milwaukee King High School, continuing a critical stretch of pickups in the Badgers’ 2023 recruiting class.

White becomes the sixth overall commitment and the fifth player to commit in the class in the last two weeks.

White finished his junior season with 1,163 yards rushing on 8.6 yards per carry and 20 touchdowns. He averaged 129.2 yards rushing per game. White chose Wisconsin over scholarship offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Purdue and Vanderbilt.
