Lightning Brayden Point's OT goal staves off elimination, forces Game 7 vs. Maple Leafs - The Athletic

The Tampa Bay Lightning stave off elimination, defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in overtime to force a Game 7. Brayden Point scored in overtime, sealing the win.

The Tampa Bay Lightning staved off elimination by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in overtime on Thursday to force a Game 7. Brayden Point scored in overtime, sealing the win.

The Lightning were down 3-2 to the Maple Leafs heading to the third period. Nikita Kucherov tied the game in the third period on the power play before Point won it in overtime.

Game 7 is on Saturday.
