Boston Celtics center Robert Williams is out for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Milwaukee Bucks due to left knee soreness, the team announced Wednesday. Williams missed Game 4 — a 116-108 Boston road victory — on Monday with the same injury.

Williams, 24, has played five games during the 2021-22 NBA playoffs, averaging 6.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He briefly went to the locker room in Game 3 after taking an elbow from Bucks forward Bobby Portis before returning.

The Bucks and the Celtics are tied in the series at two games apiece. Game 5 tips off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
