Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball has a small meniscus tear in his left knee and is evaluating treatment options, sources tell The Athletic. There is hope Ball can monitor his knee and play through it, but if he can't, he may require a minor procedure that would sideline him for several weeks.

Ball has missed three-straight games due to his knee injury. The 24-year-old received arthroscopic surgery on that same knee in 2018.

Ball joined the Bulls (28-15) on a four-year, $85 million contract in August after a sign-and-trade that sent Tomáš Satoranský, Garrett Temple and a second-round pick to the New Orleans Pelicans. He is averaging 13 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists for the season.
