Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Aaron Ashby was placed on the 15-day injured list with left forearm inflammation, the team announced Monday. Ashby is the third Brewers pitcher going to the injured list, joining Freddy Peralta and Brandon Woodruff.

Ashby, 24, suffered the injury against the New York Mets on June 16. He pitched 4.1 innings, giving up four earned runs, three walks and recording five strikeouts. For the season, Ashby is 1-5 with a 4.25 ERA and a 1.455 WHIP.

On the flip-side, the team activated three-time All-Star closer Josh Hader from the restricted list on Monday. He's pitched just 19.2 innings in 2022, allowing only two earned runs.

The Brewers are 38-30, tied with the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central.
