Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid cleared concussion protocol and participated in shootaround on Friday morning, but the center is still listed as out for Game 3 of the team's Eastern Conference semifinals matchup with the Miami Heat.

Embiid is still dealing with a right orbital fracture, as well as a torn ligament in his right thumb. He missed the first two games of the series in Miami, both Heat wins.

Embiid averaged 26.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in Philadelphia's first-round series win over the Toronto Raptors.
